I am a flight attendant and therefore constantly in the public eye. My appearance is a high concern of mine and my smile was sub-par. Pat Rodriguez of Colleyville had an old crown with a failing root canal on one of her front teeth that needed to be replaced. After visiting two other dentists, she finally came to see Dr. Vinings. "It wasn't a decision I took lightly," she said. "It was a bit overwhelming. Until I met Dr. Vinings, I didn't feel comfortable with the way I was treated by the other dentists. Del Early became frustrated when her previous dentist didn't offer her options to improve her smile. "He told me my teeth were fine," she said. "And I guess they are healthy, but I wanted them to look better. So I called Dr. Vinings." Early said she didn't have any particular option in mind before making her appointment. But the Ireland native had a lot of mercury fillings that needed to be replaced, and Dr. Vinings also suggested veneers and crowns to enhance her smile. "The improvement was dramatic. Lee Ann Norville, Colleyville, had laser gum alignment performed on her front teeth, upper veneers placed and whitening. The results were life-changing. "I hardly smiled because my front teeth tilted in, and I was embarrassed of the big gaps I had on the side," she said. "I'm sure people thought I wasn't very friendly. Dr. Vinings noticed his patient Pamela Blake, an elementary school teacher from Colleyville, had chipped teeth caused from a poor bite and night grinding. "From the moment I first called for an appointment and was greeted with Christy's warm welcome and helpfulness, I was made to feel right at home and cared for. I had never been in a dentist's office that seemed actually more like visiting a spa. The decor, the ambiance, relaxing atmosphere and professionalism of Dr. Vinings and his staff were incredible. While I waited for my examination, I was escorted to a room in the back of the office where I got to sit in a relaxing massage chair and then had my hands dipped in warm paraffin. "They worked extremely hard to make sure I was as comfortable as I could be throughout the entire procedure. All day, I had a warm neck pillow, which they continued to re-warm. They constantly put moisturizer on my lips so they would not crack. Dr. Vinings made sure I was never in any pain. Christy even gave me a foot massage!
