What makes you
different than any other dental practice I can visit?
Our training, experience, technology,
and dental spa concept sets us apart from other dental offices in the
Metroplex area. We truly do not know of any other dental office that
has
all of the advanced dental equipment and technology we have. This means
we can provide our patients up-to-date dental procedures that are
faster,
beautiful and often pain-free. You may not like what we have to do
for you... but you will like us.

I do not like
drills. Are there any other options?
Dr. Vinings uses the dental laser instead
of drills for simple fillings. It combines laser energy and water to perform
dental procedures without the use of a drill, and often without the need
for local anesthetic.

I want my front
teeth to look better, but I do not want to wear braces. What would
you recommend?
Dr. Vinings has a number of ways to
improve the look of your front teeth without the use of unsightly braces.
For slightly crooked or unevenly worn teeth, a bit of reshaping and
the addition of porcelain veneers may be sufficient to give them a
bright, uniform look. We would be happy to talk with you further about
the option that best suits your individual situation.
Also, Invisalign is an alternative to braces for many patients to straighten crooked, but otherwise healthy teeth. We are a Certified Invisalign Provider.

How can you
help design a new smile for me?
One of the first things
we do, after we have a conversation with you about your expectations is
to show you a book, called Smile Catalogue, published by the Las
Vegas Institute of Dental Studies. Here you will see a variety of smiles that
have been designed by other dentists, and we will use this book as a launching
pad to determine what sort of a new smile you would like designed for
yourself. We will determine the size and shape of teeth, how they will
fit with the shape of your lips and your smile zone. We will take digital
photographs and measurements of your existing teeth and face to further
aid in designing your new smile.
We will create a
study model of your mouth and send it to our laboratory. The lab will send back a wax-up
and a stint to fabricate a temporary you can wear to show your family
and friends. We make adjustments to this temporary until you are completely
satisfied with the look and feel of your new smile. Once you are ready,
we create the final, and from there you are ready with your new smile--a
dazzling and radiant one that will increase your confidence.
